We were met by a warm welcome by staff, it was a warm sunny day so we asked to have lunch in the delightful top floor garden. We ordered at the counter for this but then our tray was carried up to the top floor by such a helpful member of staff we subsequently found out was Duncan the owner I believe. Such kindness and hospitality! The salad and soup were delicious very fresh as were the scones we had afterwards. A lovely place to eat we will be back. Thank you to all the staff.

This is such a delightful place, I highly recommend it. The staff are so lovely, kind and welcoming. The atmosphere is charming and the food is really good. You can see they serve their food with pride and they make it a little extra special- for example, they do a kids pizza meal and they let the children make their own pizza doing the toppings, putting the cheese on, etc. The kids ice cream also came with toppings as well - and it just was delightful, no other word for it! The manager came by to check on us before we left and he discovered we were on a road trip and it was our first time there and he kindly boxed us up some complimentary treats for the rest of our drive. Everything here was 10 out 10 and look forward to one day returning.

Recently visited with my 9 year old daughter for a drink and dessert. Absolutely fantastic place. Modern dessert shops are not a patch on this place! Great to see it’s still going strong after all these years. Quality is ever lasting. I would highly recommend.

Fantastic!!!!! We spent 3 days in Stafford and we had lunch there every day. Cozy, friendly, spacious, with different settings and keeping that old style image. You will see personnel everywhere making sure you are ok and checking on you at all times. Varied menu, and whatever you choose will be delicious. If you happen to be in Stafford, don't.miss this place

We have been to many places, but this visit to The Soup Kitchen in Stafford just won my heart, right from when we walked in until the time we left. Our visit to Stafford was extremely unplanned, and since we live in North Wales, we wouldn't have any excuse to come to Stafford. But, we did this time for a friend, that's a long story maybe some other day. But here we are in Stafford, finding a place to eat before we go back to North Wales and our friend found this poster outside Stafford railway station about a 16th century eatery called Soup Kitchen. So we headed to Soup kitchen, which was 5-7 mins walk from the station. As soon as we arrived we were greeted at the door and we were taken to our tables and every staff we met along the way greeted us! We ordered our food, and the service was impeccable, so was the food quality. Extremely friendly and welcoming place and I would recommend anyone in and around Stafford to go there atleast once if you haven't already. We certainly will if we go near Stafford.
